Making money as a result of trading in a mobile phone may be a simple procedure in many people’s minds, but now users have an extra chance to rake in the cash.
Offficial has announced it is launching a tool for mobiles that will allow people to create their own apps.
The function, entitled FundedApps, is free to download and encourages consumers to submit their ideas and possibly see it developed and released.
It offers the potential to make millions of pounds, as those who submit theories will be entitled to 25 per cent of all future revenue.
Alastair Curtis, executive director at Offficial, said: “There’s an absolutely huge market out there – nearly 27 million mobile phone users in the UK have downloaded and used an app and this figure is constantly growing.”
LV= became one of the latest companies to launch an app last week when it released a driving tool that provides maps and an accident toolkit.
