The latest indications seem to show that LG may be the favourite to manufacture the upcoming Nexus 5 mobile phone.
LG made a pretty good job with producing its predecessor, the Nexus 4, so it wouldn't be a huge leap of faith for Google to pick the Korean firm to make the next model.
Korean-website Daum has indicated that LG has designed initial ideas for the upcoming Google-powered handset.
Reports have even emerged that the company may have already sent these prototypes of the upcoming device to the search engine's boss Larry Page.
The Korean-manufacturer is trying to keep it all under-wraps, but indications have suggested that testing has been going on for months, despite the company trying to distance itself from the next Nexus handset.
