New rumours suggest the LG G Pro 2 could arrive before the Mobile World Congress (MWC), despite what the company has said before about the upcoming mobile phone.
According to an invite posted on ZDNet, the smartphone will be showing up on February 13th between 10:30am and 1pm. The company is hosting an event during this time, which has sparked speculation that LG is choosing this time to release the LG G Pro 2.
The event will be hosted in Seoul, while the invite carries the line "Knock-knock knockin' on", perhaps paying reference to the knock-on feature that was on the LG G2.
Although the company previously announced the smartphone would be debuted at the MWC at the end of February, it makes sense for the handset to have its own event. A special day, outside of the conference, would ensure the LG G Pro 2 doesn't get lost in the midst of bigger names.
