Offering users an option who don't want to pay for a brand, Kazam has released an octa-core mobile phone – bringing all the power without the high cost.
Kazam has taken to the stage at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 to launch not one but two Android handsets, both featuring octa-core processors.
The Kazam Tornado 2 5.5 comes with a 1.7Ghz octa-core processor, a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen and a 13-megapixel camera, while a five-megapixel shooter sits on the front. The other handset brings a smaller screen size but with very similar specifications but with an eight-megapixel camera and a two-megapixel shooter on the front.
In an odd move, the manufacturer has released both handsets with Android 4.2, rather than the latest version of the operating system.
Earlier rumours said that a pair of Android handsets would come from Kazam to be released in the UK in Q2. However, the firm has not yet confirmed when or where the smartphones will go – other than that they will be put on sale in Europe.
