Kazam was founded by two ex-HTC executives and they are launching it with six new handsets.
All of the devices run Android and offer dual-SIM capability, meaning that you can run two mobile phone numbers from one handset.
The company's flagship is the 4.2-inch Kazam Thunder Q4.5 which brings with it Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. For the snap-happy there is also an eight-megapixel camera on the back and a two-megapixel shooter on the front.
It says that it's "time to shake up the status quo and bring some fresh thinking to the world of smartphones".
For UK users that are interested in the new look smartphones, the devices should be arriving on our shelves before Christmas, though there are no reports about pricing or precise release date. It's also unclear whether the handsets will make it out of the UK to other markets like the US or Australia.
