Apple may be about to increase the size of its mobile phone screens with its next iPhone 5S, although it is thought this may have delayed release.

The company boosted the display size to four inches when it produced the iPhone 5 and looks like it'll do the same again.

Bloomberg picked up a report from the Tawainese Commercial Times claiming that Apple will be stretching its displays to 4.3 inches for the next iPhone. Although this will still look small compared to some of the releases from Samsung, it has reportedly caused the product launch to be delayed.

It means users may not see the iPhone 5S until the tail-end of this year, which contrasts with earlier reports that claim the device is ready for release as early as September or October.
