The iPad 3 is the most popular choice for consumers looking to invest in a new tablet despite the fact that the device has yet to be released.
A recent survey conducted by YouGov has found that out of all the other devices available in the market 26 per cent of people wanted to get their hands on the iPad 3.
The popularity of Apple products was recently highlighted by the fact that the 25 billionth app was downloaded from its App Store earlier this week.
It also found that 16 per cent of the British population are keen to purchase a tablet within the next two years, however just eight per cent felt they would get one of the devices in the next three months.
“The tablet remains synonymous with the iPad and Apple continues to dominate the market with nearly three quarters (73%) of the owner base," associate director in YouGov's technology and telecom's team Russell Feldman said.
