While Christmas is only a mere ten days away, those who have yet to purchase the perfect smartphone gift for a loved one may want to wait and see what the next couple of days will bring, especially as rumour has it that Huawei will be bringing out a brand new device tomorrow (December 16th).
The Chinese company may have only recently released its Honor 6 handset, but according to its Weibo account, there will be a larger version, the Honor 6 Plus, available.
Rumour has it that the brand new device will have a 1808p 5.5 inch screen, which is slightly bigger compared to the Honor 6’s 5 inches, and will have a 1.8 GHz SoC which is most likely to be a Kirin one.
If reports are true we may be looking at 3 GB of RAM as well as a microSD card slot. However, the most exciting rumour is that of the camera. According to leaked sources, the device will have not one, but two camera sensors on the back. It is likely that one camera will actually take the image, while the other will capture further information so that it can re-adjust the focal point of the picture.
While we still have to wait and see whether or not these rumours actually become true, if there is one thing we can count on if they are, it is that the price will be very reasonable. Although it will most likely be more expensive than the Honor 6, with suggestions pointing towards the £205 mark.
There is only one way to find out and hopefully come this time tomorrow, we will have more solid information.
