The HTC Touch Diamond2 may just be the best device the company has come up with that uses a Microsoft operating system, it has been suggested.
In an article for the Trusted reviews website this week, Niall Magennis puts the latest phone to be branded with the Diamond moniker to the test – and concludes it is a great deal better than its predecessor.
He states one area the original suffered from was the impractical battery plate on the back of the device – an issue that has been taken care of on the new model. However, it is the performance of the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system alongside the handset’s TouchFlo 3D user interface that impresses the most.
Mr Magennis explains the whole HTC Touch Diamond2 package is “perhaps the best Windows Mobile-based device that HTC has ever produced”.
The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor, 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3G support and a built-in five-megapixel camera.
