HTC’s upcoming flagship mobile phone has been the subject of a number of leaks over the past few months, with the latest rumour concerning what the handset will look like.

According to a new press image outed by @evleaks, the HTC One sequel will carry a brand new case that displays information thanks to various holes.

HTC’s new cover appears to have a number of perforations, which allows users to see important information – such as weather updates and the time – without having to open up the smartphone.

The photo by the serial leaker was accompanied by the caption: “Holes. Time. Colours.”

Although the text with the photo doesn’t give much insight, @evleaks wrote another post that indicated what the HTC One follow-up may look like on the inside.

The Twitter user expects the smartphone to come alongside a Google Play Edition of the device, giving users a pure Android experience rather than getting bogged down in HTC’s Sense UI.
