The number of HTC One Max rumours have been increasing over the past few weeks so it's not surprising that the company has made an announcement about its future super-sized mobile phone.
Although it's not quite confirmation, HTC has sent out invitations to an event on its home turf in Taiwan on October 18th at 6pm local time.
This is generally how the big companies go about making significant announcements about any upcoming devices that may be in the works.
However, the firm has also sent out invitations for an event in Hong Kong on October 16th, with no clue about whether there will be a live stream of the meeting.
A translation of a poem on the invitation reads: "One finger opens up big view. You are invited to immerse in the sound with us".
Many have speculated that this is hinting at the existence of a fingerprint scanner in the HTC One Max, as well as playing reference to the company's famous BoomSound speakers.
As always, it still isn't clear what the firm has up its sleeves, but it appears that we won't have to wait that much longer to find out for certain.
