If you're thinking of treating yourself to a HTC mobile phone this Christmas, it's good news for you.
The HTC One, as well as the Max and Mini, can now be sold in the UK as the company won its appeal from a recent patent ruling.
Last week, Nokia won a battle that said HTC was infringing on one of the Finnish firm's patents. However, the Taiwanese manufacturer vowed to challenge the ruling and the Court of Appeals ruled that the HTC One, Max and Mini can all be sold in the UK once again.
A company spokesperson said: "HTC is delighted that the Court of Appeal has granted a stay on the injunction against our products. We will immediately resume shipment of all of our devices into the UK, including the entire HTC One family."
However, HTC did add that it will look into other solutions for the chips inside its handsets, the subject of the patent dispute, so that it doesn't face this situation again.
