The latest mobile phone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has arrived in its homeland.
Specifications for the HTC Desire L are aimed at a mid-range audience with its 4.3-inch display and 1 GHz dual-core processor. It also sports a five mega-pixel camera, 4 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM all powered by a 1,800 mAh battery.
With these offerings, it looks like the HTC handset could be in direct competition with the Nokia Lumia 720, which carries the highly-anticipated Windows Phone 8.
The HTC Desire L has the same smooth, no-nonsense look that has come to be expected from the firm and weighs just 118g.
Taiwanese customers can get the device in black, white or a faded-pink colour, but a global release date has yet to be confirmed.
It’s unclear whether UK users will see the HTC Desire L or not, as the company told TechRadar: “HTC doesn’t comment on future roadmaps for devices.”
