HTC’s Desire 601 has arrived in the UK, giving Brits the chance to get a 4G mobile phone without having to fork out for a high-end handset.
It comes featuring a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a five-megapixel camera on the back. The handset comes with Android 4.2.2, as well as HTC’s Sense 5.0 overlay. However, the feature everyone will be interested in is the fact it supports 4G technology.
The HTC Desire 601 is one of the only handsets that offers 4G for a reasonable price. Online retailers are selling the smartphone for just £239.99, which makes it a very competitive option for those who don’t want to spend most of their pay packet on a handset.
On the user interface, you will also be able to benefit from the phone’s BlinkFeed along with the BoomSound speakers.
O2 has an exclusive deal with the Desire 601, so you’ll have to change to the network to get your hands on the smartphone.
