The launch of the Google Nexus One has attracted a considerable amount of attention as experts tip Android to be the next big thing in mobile phone technology.
Consumers may want to sell their used mobile in order to upgrade a handset that makes used of the Android operating system and Google has announced the launch of a new web store.
The first phone to be made available through the store will be the Nexus One which will be available in the UK on Vodafone.
Vodafone is the first operator to offer the phone in Europe and states that it will be made available "soon".
Running on Android 2.1, the newest version of Eclair, features of the phone include a 3.7-inch organic light emitting diode display, voice-enabled keyboard and "a host of popular Google applications".
The "superphone" promises consumers an experience of when "cool apps meet a fast, bright and connected computer that fits in your pocket".
