The LG ‘G Flex’, the company’s signature curved mobile phone, is coming to the UK this month. However, it is not for sale.
The phone will be displayed in selected EE stores to show customers the features of the G Flex, which include a scratch-resistant, ‘self-healing’ backing.
The phone will be on display in EE shops in Merry Hill, Kent, Manchester, Sheffield, Brighton, Cambridge, Nottingham and three stores in London.
The official release date for the curvy mobile phone in Europe is February 2014, and LG is adamant that this is indeed going to be when the phone goes on sale despite the displays.
Andy Coughlin, LG UK’s head of mobile, said: "There's been so much excitement about the LG G Flex since we announced it in October, so we're thrilled to be working to bring it to UK consumers.”
