Stocks in both the UK and US of the Firefox-toting ZTE Open mobile phone have sold out in a matter of days.
It shows selling the device exclusively through official eBay stores for both regions at a budget-friendly price of just £60 has worked for the Chinese manufacturer.
The 3.5-inch device will bring a 1GHz processor 3.2-megapixel camera, 512MB of internal storage and comes with a striking bright orange back and the first Firefox open-source operating system designed by Mozilla.
Spain, Venezuela and Columbia have already had their taste of the Firefox operating system, but the ZTE Open was the first time that America and Britain got the opportunity to try it out for themselves.
It's good news for ZTE and it will be interesting to see whether it sticks with the its eBay exclusivity or branches out to offer the device through other retailers.
