The UK's only 4G network EE appears to be the first to offer support for the Blackberry Enterprise Service (BES10) for its business mobile phone customers.
BES10 provides security and application management for users running the BB10 operating system and will be available from April 2nd.
A representative of EE told TRPro that the company will provide a hosted service that allows organisations to run BES10 through its network. It will also offer plans for customers including licences and servers for users.
The package could potentially save users money as they won't have to pay for additional hosting. There is also no restriction on the amount of licences that can be managed.
EE claims it is the first in the UK to offer this service and support for BES10.
The company's director of business Max Taylor said it is the only network to "offer enterprise grade security across all mobile operating systems, covering 3G and 4G".
Prices start at £15 per month for 1GB of mobile data but 4G users will have to pay an extra £3.
