One of the most common complaints when it comes to Apple's mobile phones is that they are notoriously difficult to repair. As everything is built into the handset, if you need to change your battery or repair a cracked screen, you could be left waiting weeks to get your smartphone back from the factory.
However, now it appears that Apple could be about to start doing screen repairs in-store, reducing the amount of time that users have to wait.
According to 9to5mac, the company could begin repairs for its cheaper iPhone 5C handset from this week (January 20th).
It means that Apple fans could have their cracked screens repaired within an hour, meaning they don't have to lose all their precious apps and data.
The repair is likely to set you back around £29 for customers that have an AppleCare-covered iPhone 5C. However, for those who don't have their phone covered with the company insurance, it is likely you will still have to stump up around £90.
