Britons who trade in mobile phones and are subsequently on the lookout for a new handset have been advised to shop around and take their time.
Flora Graham, mobile phone editor at CNET UK, explained it is best to assess the market when looking for a new model.
She recommended paying as much of the cost of a phone as possible upfront in order to reduce the monthly cost of a contract.
“Do shop around, there are some great websites that compare contracts and phones so if you don’t mind switching from one network to another, there are often some really good deals,” Ms Graham said.
The expert admitted that some phones can be expensive to purchase, so wise financial planning – as well as the proceeds from a previous device – could be useful.
One option that may be popular at the current time is the HTC Wildfire S, which Three has this week announced it is now stocking.
