Many people have lost count of the amount of rumours that have suggested Apple will be releasing a budget-friendly mobile phone soon, but the latest indication is that the device won't be that cheap.
One of the team from Pegatron, which is reportedly producing the handset, has shattered dreams that customers would be able to get their hands on an iPhone for a portion of the normal price.
Chief executive at the Taiwanese firm T.H. Tung has told the China Times that "the price is still high" for the affordable device.
Maybe Apple are taking a leaf out Blackberry's book whose affordable device emerged in Dubai earlier this week for well over £200.
Tung continued to say that although the upcoming device won't be cheap it will be a lot more affordable than other iPhones available.
