It seems BlackBerry aren’t having much luck as it attempts to stabilise its position in the mobile phone market. The release of its latest BB10 devices was supposed to bring it back into direct competition with its rivals, which have recently surpassed the Canadian manufacturer.
However, the latest BlackBerry 10 update has caused a number of messaging problems for people with the latest software, according to N4BB.
The update has reportedly resulted in many users losing their message history and some are have even been left completely unable to use the service at all.
Although, issues can be expected for some devices with the release of a new update. It’s far from ideal for the Canadian manufacturer especially as some users are being left unable to send SMS messages, which is a fairly basic and necessary feature in modern devices.
BlackBerry is reportedly looking into the issue but it’s an undeniable setback for the firm as it tries to compete with highly-successful platforms such as Windows Phone 8, Android and iOS.
