Details of an upcoming BlackBerry mobile phone dubbed the Aristo have allegedly been leaked.
The device is making a bold claim with its name – Aristo is Greek for 'best'.
The gadget will be powered by the BB10 operating system which is expected to be launched early in 2013.
Since Research in Motion (RIM) chief executive Thorstein Heins unveiled the software on September 25th, documents on the forthcoming BB10 Laguna smartphone also leaked.
The Aristo features a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM, which should ensure fast performance.
The company also seems to be providing a 2,800 mAh battery to ensure the speedy processor does not drain life too quickly.
According to the leaked document, there is an eight-megapixel rear camera which can record video in full HD.
Although this is high quality, manufacturers will struggle to compete with the camera on the soon-to-be-released Nokia Lumia 920, which is 8.7-megapixels and has innovative PureView image optimisation technology.
