Perhaps Samsung is hoping to get the most out of its current flagship mobile phone before it releases the Galaxy S5 as it offering two new versions.
The Korean manufacturer is releasing Black Edition variants of its Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini smartphones. The black colour will come from a faux leather or "leather-like" rear casing and black front. Users will also be able to take advantage of exclusive themed wallpapers and ringtones.
Samsung's Black Edition handsets will be available in the UK and US, as well as other markets, later this month.
However, other than the darker case and accessories, the rest of the specifications remain the same, meaning the handset will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean rather than the latest software.
Official pricing and availability has yet to be confirmed but it seems likely they will be released before the Samsung Galaxy S5 is revealed at the Mobile World Congress (2014).
