The rumour mill has gone into overdrive about what mobile phones Apple could be preparing for 2014. A leaked memo from chief executive Tim Cook to Apple employees indicates that the Cupertino company is planning a big year.
According to 9o5mac, the email said Apple "have a lot to look forward to in 2014, including some big plans that we think customers are going to love".
Although the leaked message doesn't give any solid dates or goals for the company, the indication that Apple has 'big plans' suggests that there is more than just a new iPhone planned for 2014.
It could be that the Cupertino company is being literal when it says it has 'big' plans. We've already heard reports that Apple is preparing a bigger screen for its iPhone 6, which could see a larger display offered on a new iPad too.
Many have speculated that next year could see the launch of the heavily-anticipated iWatch that would make your smartphone wearable. However, there have also been rumours that Apple is working on its own television projects.
