Britons who trade-in their mobile phones over the coming months and years may find they wish to switch from a traditional handset to one of the latest tablet devices.
Stuart Dredge, writing a piece for CNET UK, explains there are big plans in place for the future of Apple’s premier tablet, the iPad.
He notes rumours are already spilling out relating to the potential for an iPad 3, before the manufacturer has even confirmed its intention to retail a second incarnation of the model.
Mr Dredge quotes fellow author John Gruber, who has been speculating on the future of the iPad.
The latter of the two experts suggests he thinks Apple will start to launch the device in September as the month makes sense.
Apple released the original iPad last April and it went on to sell in excess of three million units around the world within three months of its unveiling.
