For many people who regularly use mobile phones, battery power is one of the most important features as many of us find ourselves plugging in our smartphones on a daily basis.
However, it appears Apple has it all covered. The company has filed a patent which will allow the iPhone to remember your daily routine and adjust battery consumption accordingly.
It is thought the technology would take into consideration a number of factors, including how far away you are from a potential charging point and the length of your daily commute.
The iPhone would then adjust settings like screen brightness and downloading emails to conserve as much power as possible when you need your battery to last longer.
Apple is almost constantly filing patents, but the "power management for electronic devices" looks to be one of the most exciting yet so we're really hoping this comes into fruition soon.
