Those who love apps and all the latest tools available to mobile users may be wise to consider trading in their phones and switching to a Nokia model.
That is because the Finnish brand is now facilitating some five million downloads every day, via its Ovi Store portal.
Such figures means the database has grown in popularity by approximately eight times in the last year.
Tero Ojanpera, Nokia's executive vice-president of services and developer experience, said: "This momentum continues to demonstrate consumers' appetite for Nokia's global and locally relevant apps, and will help us plan the future apps store experience for improved and new Symbian devices."
In total, there are now more than 40,000 apps available to those who have a Nokia mobile phone and access to Ovi Store.
Ian, author of a piece for Nokia Conversations, recently revealed a poll run by the company found the biggest priority for consumers is battery life.
