People who want to sell their mobile phone and switch to a new device should consider the Alcatel OT-255, if one reviewer’s words are anything to go by.
Damien McFerran, taking a closer look at the model for CNET UK, awards it an impressive 3.5 stars out of five.
He says the manufacturer has managed to recreate the prestige and sophistication of BlackBerry in a device that costs no more than £30.
Among the features named by Mr McFerran as the highlights of the phone are its full qwerty keyboard, email services and substantial battery life.
“The Alcatel OT-255 actually managed to impress us,” he concludes, adding: “If you’re after a cheap phone that allows you to stay connected with your email account, [it] is the obvious choice.”
Earlier this year, the firm released its OT-606 mobile, which it suggested would turn out to be “truly irresistible” to young people.
